AgenZ is an agency of GIZ, a German government-owned organisation. GIZ works worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. It supports complex reform and change processes in developing and transition countries.

In its work for its clients, AgenZ is able to harness GIZ’s knowledge base comprising local expertise in 130 countries and experience from some 2,700 projects in more than 40 fields of specialisation. This unique network is a cornerstone of our work – and of enormous value to our clients, since they benefit from specialist, management, regional and communication expertise all drawn from a single source.

Within GIZ our task is to develop new areas of action and win new clients for the company. We operate as a testing ground, exploring market expectations and playing out new forms of cooperation. On top of this, we co-design and co-implement communication and marketing projects for GIZ.

AgenZ is part of GIZ. It therefore shares the same identity and upholds the same values as GIZ. The bedrock of all our activities are the principles of democracy and the rule of law, respect for human rights and a social and ecological market economy.
