AgenZ handles more than 100 projects and project ideas each year – ranging from short-term consultancy for other GIZ units to the general management of large-scale international conferences. The scope of subjects covered is also extremely varied.

In Afghanistan we succeeded in organising the constituent assembly Loya Jirga within the space of just a few weeks. For the insurance company Munich Re, we helped set up and launch the Munich Re Foundation, endowing it with a mission profile. And, on behalf of Germany’s Federal President, we also helped drive forward a dialogue process between African heads of state and representatives of politics, business and civil society at the Africa forums of the Partnership with Africa initiative.

Many AgenZ projects start with a consultancy and strategy process and culminate in various dialogue formats – be it high-impact conferences, top-level expert roundtables, international specialist forums or trade fairs in developing and emerging nations. On request, AgenZ steers the entire process from the birth of an idea right through to its final implementation.

For other clients, the focus of our work is supporting them in longer-term projects by developing marketing concepts and providing strategic consultancy.
