AgenZ is an agency for political communication and strategic marketing.
With more than 40 employees in Frankfurt and Berlin, our size enables us to handle complex projects around the globe in teams and through networks, but leaves us agile enough to avoid the trap of using one-size-fits-all project blueprints.
AgenZ’s work focuses on designing and realising communication projects in a development-policy setting. We manage projects from start to finish, from the fledgling idea through to implementation, final evaluation and feedback. We see ourselves as networkers: thanks to our broad base of contacts in politics, business and civil society – the GIZ connection plays no small part in this – we can bring together and initiate links between different actors and themes.
AgenZ is also an idea scout, actively seeking out new topics, designing new business models and advising political decision-makers on strategic issues. Our thematic remit is always international cooperation and the guiding principle of sustainable development our benchmark.
Founded in 2001 as a unit of the former Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), AgenZ evolved from GTZ’s Expo 2000 Office, which helped more than 100 developing nations and international organisations to showcase their country profiles at the Hanover-based World Expo exhibition in the year 2000.
